Eagle Scholarship
The Eagle Scholarship is a need-based award that is given to eligible students. The maximum award a student can receive for the 2012 - 2013 academic year is $2,000. Students must complete a FAFSA to be considered for the scholarship.
- Full admission to an undergraduate degree program at National Louis University
- Completion of the FAFSA
- Students must meet all federal financial eligibility requirements to be considered for the scholarship
- An Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $10,000
- A minimum of 16 quarter hours of accepted college transfer credits
- A transfer GPA of at least 2.25
- If a student does not meet the transfer GPA requirement he can gain eligibility for the scholarship after attending NLU for one term and having a minimum GPA of 2.25 or higher
- Enrollment in at least 8 quarter hours per academic term
- The award is renewable as long as a 2.25 GPA is maintained
- Students will be awarded $500 per term if enrolled in 12+ hours. Students enrolled in 8-11 hours will be awarded $400 per term.
- The scholarship can be awarded until the student has reached 180 quarter hours of combined transfer and institutional coursework
- All NLU resources cannot exceed 25% of the tuition charges each term
